"Signs" - The story of this photo is an interesting one. A little backdrop. Lately life has kinda been a struggle. We all struggle in life. Faith has never come easy to me. My mind has always been one of questions. I've never accepted anything at face value. Always need to find out on my own. Well every once an a while you get a bit of a wake up call. A sense that we are smaller than we think we are. The stars do that for me. So this night after alot of stops along the way and a very lengthy conversation about the paths in life and how hard it is to always feel like you are the pillar that everyone leans on....well i see this. Actually i was standing right on it. This night i decided since it was so clear and for weeks i had been seeing this kinda shot in my head to head down to the south pier. Going anywhere by yourself in the dark is a great time to think and being under a near full moon and the bright stars...well you get the feeling we are not alone. So i get to the end of the pier and after taking a few shots of my star trails set-up i look down and see this. Immediately i get a chill. I was talking with Lulu on the phone at the time assuring her I had not gotten thrown in the lake so I had her look that verse up. Wow. The odds of me seeing this was astronomical. Sometimes in life we are given signs. There are no accidents. Inspiration is everywhere...you just have keep your eyes open. I think it means Tebow is going to take my Jets to the Superbowl. ;)
